Bet Alpha Editions came into being at that moment. Not only did the seed of an impossible-to-reproduce book come into existence that night, but also an unlikely liaison between a practical, highly successful businessman with his wise, sensitive and talented wife, and a dreamy, Jerusalem artist was formed.
Bet has four points—three face upwards and the fourth faces downwards. God set boundaries to three of the four quarters of the universe—East, West and South.
After he retired from his medical device engineering career, he ran Bet Alpha Editions for me for 10 years. Due to the overwhelming success of the Song of David Facsimile Haggadah, Bet Alpha Editions produced the Moss Haggadah, a hardcover edition with the commentary included.
